Seroma Excision
A seroma is a pocket of clear serous fluid that accumulates under the skin, often following surgery or trauma. In the ear region, seromas can develop in the pinna (outer ear) and may require surgical excision if they do not resolve on their own.
Our ENT specialist provides safe and effective seroma excision to relieve discomfort and prevent complications.
What is a Seroma?
A seroma forms when serum from blood plasma leaks out and collects in a tissue space. In the ear, it commonly occurs in the auricle (pinna) following trauma, surgery, or repeated friction. It presents as a soft, fluctuant swelling that may be painless or mildly tender.
