Ossiculoplasty is a surgical procedure to reconstruct the ossicular chain – the three tiny hearing bones (malleus, incus, and stapes) in the middle ear. When these bones are damaged or eroded due to infection or trauma, ossiculoplasty restores the sound conduction mechanism and improves hearing.

What is Ossiculoplasty?
